- Kitchen Crew Player/Prep/Cook/Assembly/Dishwash/Dish Up
Our team members must know the menu extremely well. They will guide and upsell our guests through the entire ordering process quickly, accurately, and with friendly service. Our team members are responsible for taking orders, preparing orders, and offering the highest standards for service, but their job is much more than that. You are really a salesman!
Furthermore, speed, accuracy, and communication with the Manager/team are crucial to creating an Exceptional Guest Experience.
General Duties
- Responsible for the daily operations of your assigned position in the restaurant.
- Ability to take direction and carry out assigned tasks.
- Ability to show up on time and be dependable.
- Ability to learn menu item recipes and food assembly processes.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
- Ability to learn menu items and assist guests with the ordering process.
- Maintains proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Keeps equipment clean and free of debris during shift.
- Greets guests in a courteous and timely fashion.
- Serves in a neat and attractive manner as per standards.
- Relays relevant comments received from guests directly to management.
- Adheres to all restaurant policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Performs all restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Understands final product presentation, recipes, and portion control.
- Understands all health and sanitation codes.
- Understands all cleaning procedures and performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks.
- Uses FIFO when pulling or storing products.
- Implements industry food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean restaurant environment at all times.
- Asks for help when needed.
- Re-stock all items during the shift as needed.
- Check-in with supervisors and other teammates regularly to ensure the highest priority items are being executed.
