POSITION SUMMARY :
The Maintenance Technician ensures that property work orders are completed, grounds are kept in pristine condition and vacant units are completed before leasing to a new resident.
MAJOR DUTIES :
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete daily assigned work orders on a timely basis and ensure they are completed to the resident’s satisfaction
- Preparation of vacant residential units for re-leasing including minor repairs and small projects; ensure mechanical systems (heating / cooling, plumbing, electrical, appliances) are all in working order; consistently hit the monthly stated goal for ‘turn time’
- Provide great customer service to residents with particular attention to curb appeal, move-in experience, timely work order response, friendliness to residents and properly addressing their concerns
- Walk the property regularly (daily) to take care of common areas and grounds to ensure they are clean and safe
- Respond to emergency calls promptly, diagnose problem and resolve appropriately
