Peppers Artful Events is seeking Part-Time Catering Stewards and Operations Team Members to help expedite a high volume of seasonal events. This includes being available to work at various times depending on the event schedule (mornings, nights, weekends and everything in between). As a member of operations, you will play a crucial role in the logistics of executing off-site catering events. This includes packing and loading events onto trucks, off-premises event set-up & breakdown, and processing equipment after use.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The operations team is the backbone of our company. We pack, load, set-up, clean-up and unload each and every job to par with the needs of the event. In order to be successful, our team works diligently to make sure our equipment is well taken care of, and our products and services are nothing less than spectacular! Operations requires reliable individuals who are detail oriented and are willing to assist in all areas. Some of our duties include but are not limited to:

· Packing, staging, and loading items and equipment necessary for events

. Driving trucks to and from events, unloading, set up, breakdown, packing up

. On events assisting chefs, clearing dishes, brewing coffee, keeping back of house organized

· Unloading events and processing returning items including chinaware & utensils

. Cleaning and maintaining equipment such as coolers and insulated hot food carriers

· Organizing the department shelving and storage spaces

· General housekeeping, both inside and outside the building

. Working in a team-oriented environment

. Assisting staff with various tasks and projects as needed

Requirements/Qualifications

· Valid Driver’s License

· 18 years or older

. No criminal record. Background (CORI) check required.

· Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. or more

. Weekend availability is a must

· A strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Adaptability and willingness to overcome challenges

· Positive energy and great attitude

· Reliable

· 4 or 8 hour shifts (not including events)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
