Machine Operators - 1st and 2nd Shift

Summary
Machine Operator tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, and/or labeling.
Responsibilities
- Starts machine and observes operation to ensure machine is operating properly.
- Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
- Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers.
- Inspects filled cups to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
- Feeds product to conveyors.
- Mounts supplies such as film on spindles.
Requirements
- Prior mechanical experience and proven troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of computers and printers.
- Math skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Working overtime and altered work schedules are required as deemed necessary by management.
