What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Cashier position at Peppermill Resort Hotel?
The Pool Cashier is to provide the guest with effective, efficient, friendly service to ensure their return visit.
Duties:
- Sincerely greets each guest
- Make eye contact with guest
- Knows the script and hours of operation
- Complete pre-shift running and post shift side work requirements
- Ability to prepare coffee-based drinks in a high volume environment with consistency and accuracy
- Understands the ingredients and preparation of all menu items and is able to relate that information to the guest in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of all coupons and specials
- Understanding of the tending functions of the POS system.
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and Team members.
- Ability to use a calculator and balance a bank with a high level of accuracy
- Genuinely thanks the Guest.
- Adheres to all internal controls, policies and procedures
- Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
- Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.
- Prepare and make food.
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and repeatedly bend at the waist.
- Ability to work in close quarters.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
