As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Valor by driving a strategic, high-impact recruitment function. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this senior leadership position is responsible for designing and executing a best-in-class talent acquisition strategy that supports both established business lines and emerging growth opportunities.
Leading a team of dedicated recruiters, you will ensure the timely delivery of top-tier talent aligned with business objectives, workforce planning needs, and Valor’s distinctive culture. You will also serve as a key partner to senior leadership, translating hiring needs into actionable recruitment strategies while leveraging data-driven insights to optimize the hiring process.
Core Responsibilities
Experience: 10 years of recent leadership experience managing a healthcare recruitment team. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master’s preferred). Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of applicant tracking systems, sourcing methodologies, affirmative action requirements, and recruitment metrics. Key Skills: Strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder influence, problem-solving, and compliance expertise. Ability to travel

- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to align recruitment goals with organizational objectives, workforce planning, and budget constraints.
- Talent Analytics & Insights: Use data-driven approaches to assess recruitment and negotiation effectiveness, improve hiring outcomes, and enhance the candidate experience.
- Employer Brand & Market Positioning: Strengthen Valor’s employer brand to attract high-caliber professionals and ensure a compelling candidate experience.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of employment laws, regulations, and industry trends to drive compliance and best practices.
- Business Development Support: Provide critical workforce insights and data to support contract proposals and new business initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters to enhance performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
