Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Peppino's Downtown Sports Lounge. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance our guests' experience. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation as the go-to spot for food and sports in Grand Rapids.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications for alcohol service.
