Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Peppino's Downtown Sports Lounge in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience while enjoying their favorite sports events.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accuracy of orders.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately at the end of the meal.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are required.
