Job duties & responsibilities
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests
- Remembering proper table rotation and ensuring all servers receive the correct number of guests/tables
- Constantly communicating with managers and servers on the floor
- Maintaining composure under periods of high stress and high volume situations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of host area
- Escort guest to assigned table, present menus, announce waiter's name
- Bussing and cleaning tables in a quick manner
- Efficiently manage reservations
- Training new hire hosts when needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Perferred prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
