Lead Merchandiser - Stock Pepsi & Lead Your Team!!
General Functions:
Responsible for leading a team of merchandisers or independently executing merchandising tasks to enhance the presence and sales of PMA products in various retail locations. The primary focus will be on maintaining product displays, ensuring proper stock levels, and implementing promotional strategies to achieve sales targets while assisting the Area Sales Manager in all training, coverage and development of all Sales Merchandisers and new hires.

Reports to: Area Sales Manager
Supervises: None
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage for any open zones due to Sales Merchandiser vacations or call offs as assigned.
- Assist, train, and provide guidance to a team of Sales Merchandisers.
- Set up and maintain product displays according to company guidelines and planograms.
- Implement promotional strategies, including signage and product placement, to drive sales.
- Servicing customers in approved areas.
- Servicing and filling all cold drink placements at each store location.
- Servicing and rotating all displays and beverage stock in accounts out on the floor and in backroom storage areas.
- Check for proper amount POP and instore advertising for each day by account to maximize sales in all accounts.
- Hang banners and keep all outside equipment clean, call-in work orders for each account as needed when equipment breaks down.
- Report any issues to Area Sales Manager daily for all accounts.
- Observe any competitive activity and report it to the Area Sales Manager daily.
- Report any accidents involving Pepsi employees in stores.
- Be clean and neat in personal appearance per company policy.
- Resolve any customer complaints and make sure each outlet is taken care of daily.
- Be ethical in all business dealings representing Pepsi and its customers.
- Work scheduled weekends and holidays as approved by managers.
- Attempt to increase Pepsi’s brand or package availability in existing outlets.
- Train and develop new Sales Merchandiser trainees in store execution, as well as Wal Mart and Dollar General programs process and procedures.
- Assist ASM in all day-to-day business activities as needed.
- Drive personal vehicle to accounts within assigned zone/territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Relationships:
1. Regular contact with dealers, customers, and general public.
2. Works Daily with various levels of Company personnel.
