Location: 2605 West Main Street, Marion, IL
Position: Quality Control Technician I
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday-9:30PM - 6AM

ABOUT THE ROLE
Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team in Marion, IL! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. You will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections to meet the highest standards of quality and sanitation.

• ✨ WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  
• Mix all flavors for production runs based on the production schedule.
• Keep accurate records of all Quality Control activities.
• Ensure product at the filler meets CO2, brix, and TA standards before bottling.
• Monitor crown/closure hoppers to ensure proper quantities and types are available.
• Perform hourly product inspections for carbonation levels and mix consistency.
• Test and calibrate filler monitor control mechanisms.
• Keep Quality Control areas clean and organized to meet food processing standards.
• Conduct scheduled checks of bottle closures for proper sealing.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks to support efficient operations.
• Manage sample submissions and maintain up-to-date records.
• Act as a Quality Control Batcher in their absence.
• Perform weekly and month-end inventory of bottling bases.
