What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Production - Janitorial position at Pepsi MidAmerica?
Pepsi MidAmerica is currently looking to add to our janitorial / custodian team and reviewing candidates for multiple Janitorial Positions!!!
Pay based on experience!!! AM & PM Shifts available.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the warehouse.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste materials.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves, equipment, and workstations.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
