Frito-Lay’s Flamin’ Hot portfolio is more than a billion-dollar business, and it is force in culture. Consumers are continually delighted by the wide variety of spicy snacks - including Cheetos, Doritos, Ruffles, and more – that we have to offer under the Flamin’ Hot banner. We’re looking for a results-oriented leader-in-the-making who can help us unlock the next phase of growth for Flamin’ Hot, leading high visibility workstreams on this critical part of our overall business.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing brand and commercial strategies that support the Flamin’ Hot portfolio. The work will include day-to-day analysis of business performance, development of in-store merchandising plans, and creation of consumer promotion programming. Responsibilities will also include assessing the consumer and category landscape to map possibilities for long-term growth.
Ideal candidates will be strategic thinkers who also have a strong track record of driving results. They must be able to work effectively across different teams and functions, aligning priorities to get projects completed. Strong planning and time management will be crucial to their success.
This role is designed as a 6–12 month role to allow you to build your skillset in preparation for a career path in marketing. Upon completion of this role, you will move to a different role within marketing for a new critical experience.
Responsibilities
Defining Growth Strategies
- Partner with our Insights team to refine a clear picture of our target consumer cohort
- Understand primary category growth drivers and project future trends
- Analyze data to build long-term build plans for addressing consumers needs and capitalizing on category trends
Extending our Brand Expression
- Work with our Design team to manage the key visual assets for the Flamin’ Hot brand
- Develop merchandising plans and programs to help build visibility for Flamin’ Hot at retail
- Support implementation of new merchandising solutions
Optimizing Commercial Execution
- Closely monitor business performance and proactively identify short-term course corrections and growth opportunities
- Liaise with sales teams as they build plans for promoting the portfolio at retail
- Refine playbook for best supporting the portfolio across different regions and channels
Qualifications
- Undergraduate/graduate business or marketing degree
- 3-5 years Marketing and/or insights experience (previous CPG experience preferred)
- Outstanding project & time management skills
- Experience collaborating effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions to drive results
- Capacity to quickly learn new processes and adapt to different ways of working
- Demonstrated ability to execute projects from end-to-end with excellence
