Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients’ mental health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness while managing potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options. for restoration.
- Engage in utilization management to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric practices, medical terminology, and coding relevant to behavioral health.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent training.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly within behavioral health or geriatrics, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical records management and utilization management processes.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology or cardiac catheterization is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
