Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Landscape Crew Leader at Per-Fect-A-Lawn, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing a team of landscape maintenance technicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective completion of maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties, including lawn care, irrigation, planting, pruning, and general landscape upkeep. You will be responsible for guiding your crew, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision: Lead and manage a crew of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed to high-quality standards and within established timeframes.
Task Planning: Create daily work schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to meet customer needs and project deadlines.
Quality Control: Inspect work sites to ensure workmanship, safety, and quality standards are met. Provide coaching and feedback to crew members for continuous improvement.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Report equipment issues for timely repairs or replacements.
Customer Relations: Maintain professional and friendly interactions with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety meetings and training for crew members.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of materials, plants, and supplies required for maintenance tasks. Replenish supplies as needed.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including timesheets, materials used, and any issues encountered. Submit reports to management as required.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 minimum years of experience
- Proven experience in landscaping and outdoor maintenance.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and general landscaping practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
