What are the responsibilities and job description for the SoC Security Architect position at PER International?
Our Client is one of the world’s largest global Top-tier Semiconductor Company . Their chips are used by some of the biggest names in the tech industry, and they are helping to shape the future of technology - thus, making them a major force in the semiconductor industry.
The ideal candidate will work closely with product management and design engineering teams in developing these requirements and will be responsible for providing a corresponding security architecture that can lead to verifiable design and silicon products. The ideal candidate would have years of developing security architecture for SoCs, familiarity with security standards - such as DICE, Confidential Computing - and certification.
Location : San Diego, San Jose, or Austin
Job Description :
- MS or PhD in CS / EE or other related majors
- System-on-chip development and architecture experience
- System-on-chip security engineering experience
- Strong understanding of hardware security requirements for compute platforms or automotive platforms
- Experience in developing system-on-chip security architecture, preferably on multiple semiconductor products
- Understanding of security certification requirements and methodologies (e.g. Common Criteria, FIPS)
- Track record of innovation in the security space (e.g. patents, standards contributions, technical publications)
- Ability to work with partners to develop security requirements for future compute products for server-level security
- Participate in industry consortia as necessary to understand and influence security standards that impact computing SoC products
- Develop security requirements for compute and automotive products, based on product requirements.
- Develop security architecture for compute products including products utilizing chiplet architecture
- Assist and / or lead in threat modeling and 3rd-party security certification of compute products
