We are looking for a Full-Time College Campus Security Officer at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA!
- Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
- 2nd shift position Tuesday - Saturday 4pm to 12pm. Could be asked to cover other open shifts as needed.
- Days off Sun/Mon, set by Site Supervisor.
- Has the opportunity to get raises based on performance.
- Must be able to interact & cope with students and visitors on campus.
- Previous security experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
- Must be willing to submit to a background and drug test.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
This position is 50% walking and 50% driving.
