The primary purpose of this position is to provide supervision of Per Mar Lead Officers and Security Officers at an assigned account. Supervisory duties include ensuring proper employee performance by adhering to company and client policies and procedures, training employees and assist with scheduling officers to ensure proper security is maintained at the client site according to client contract needs.

In this role, you will:
- Directly supervise Lead Officers and Security Officers at assigned accounts.
- Assist with scheduling Lead Officers and Security Officers at assigned accounts.
- Assist with the preparation and communication of post orders for the assigned site.
- Assist with interviewing prospective employees for assigned accounts.
- Act as liaison between assigned client and the branch office.
- Assist with the resolution of client issues and complaints.
- Communicate with General or Operations Manager on regular basis.
- Review and ensure all payroll information is accurate for employees at the assigned account.
- Oversee training of all new Lead Officers and Security Officers at assigned accounts.
- Maintain, review and distribute required reports and records.
- Responsible for keeping track of mileage as required by the client.
- Conduct regular security post checks at the assigned account.
- Enforce and maintain measures to control overtime and training costs.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as outlined for the position and follow all PPE policies and procedures.

- When appropriate, inform customers of Per Mar Security Services of products and services and refer business to appropriate department.

- Hire, train and mentor direct reports by making sound hiring decisions, training each new hire and current staff as needed and continually mentor staff in order to assist in the successful performance of your direct report(s).
What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Six months to one year previous supervisory and/or security experience and/or training
- IL PERC preferred
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State in which the branch operates.
- Basic computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Internet skills required.
- Must have experience in writing reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Must be able to effectively work with people at all levels of the organization internally and externally.
- Must be able to physically perform all Security Officer duties on all shifts and the site(s) supervised.

Additional Information / Benefits
This position is scheduled Full time 7-3 Monday through Friday but must be able to cover open shifts when there are call offs at the account. It is helpful to have computer skills and to be able to teach, be a team player and motivate others.
