About the role
Our client is a Texas-based, ENR Top 200 commercial general contractor. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects in the San Antonio area. Commercial project experience with budgets from $30M - $50M is required, with industrial, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred. This is a growth opportunity, with this candidate eventually leading the San Antonio office.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
- Lead project teams, including project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and support staff, fostering collaboration and effective communication
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded
- Monitor project performance, conduct regular site visits, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project goals
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a history of successfully leading large-scale projects.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
