General Responsibilities

General Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct significant engineering projects or multiple smaller projects with complex features.
- Lead a team in producing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and reports.
- Mentor junior staff in technical H&H and teamwork skills.
- Manage daily operations and schedules for H&H engineering analysis supporting the Houston Land Division.
- Utilize advanced modeling techniques and practices in hydrology and hydraulics.
- Interact with clients and consultants, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Participate in engineering organizations to enhance company visibility.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design.
- Experience in project and task management.
- Proficiency in H&H software such as ArcGIS, GeoHEC-RAS, HEC-RAS (Unsteady, 2D), HEC-HMS, InfoWorks ICM, XP-SWMM.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
