Job Summary: An Unarmed Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at various locations, such as office buildings, retail stores, residential communities, and event venues. Their primary responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring and Patrolling – Conducting regular patrols to ensure the premises remain secure and free from unauthorized activity.
2. Access Control – Checking identification, screening visitors, and managing entry points to prevent unauthorized access.
3. Surveillance – Observing security cameras, alarm systems, and surroundings to detect suspicious behavior.
4. Incident Response – Responding to disturbances, emergencies, or safety hazards while following company protocols.
5. Customer Service – Providing assistance to employees, visitors, or customers while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
6. Report Writing – Documenting incidents, suspicious activities, or security concerns in detailed reports.
7. Collaboration with Law Enforcement – Assisting authorities, when necessary, by providing information or evidence.
8. Enforcing Policies – Ensuring compliance with company rules, safety procedures, and regulations.

- Conduct regular observation of client premises and report any suspicious activity.
- Perform foot patrols, monitor the perimeter, and handle incident reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety, security procedures, and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills.
- Patrol the site on foot to identify potential dangers or criminal activity.
- Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary.
- Maintain accurate reports by documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Issue verbal warnings, make arrests (if applicable), and/or contact law enforcement for security violations or criminal activities.
- Adapt to various working environments and conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid California Guard Card required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be at least 25 years of age
