What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Operations Engineer position at Peraton?
Responsibilities
Do you want to be part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM's Joint Cyber Warfare Architect (JCWA) capabilities and systems? Peraton is looking for someone to act as a technical liaison on behalf of the Program Office and USCYBERCOM Operations Directorate between capability SMEs and capability developers, capability testers, planning teams, operations support staff, and operating units during planning and operations. Someone experienced to participate in requirements working groups as a capability SME for defined cyber capabilities/tools and/or operations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI
- Minimum 3 years experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and analysis in cyber operations
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related disciple
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of cyber operations or cyber support experience. Examples include: USCYBERCOM, Cyber Service Component (i.e., 16th Air Force, AFCYBER), Wing (67th Cyberspace Wing, 688th Cyberspace Wing), Network Warfare Squadron, Network Operations Squadron, Cyberspace Operations Squadron, Network Support Squadron OR equivalent.
