Responsibilities
We are hiring for a Cybersecurity Analyst.
Serves on the Cyber Compliance team supporting the G6 Cyber Security Division. Complete weekly tasks including providing vulnerability reports, preparing Powerpoint slides for CSD leadership, reviewing IPS logs to point out anomalies, and submitting requests for IP block action when nefarious activity is reported. The ideal candidate will utilize the tools available to the team to provide timely responses to Leadership when questions are posed concerning the security of G6 assets. Often, cyber task orders (CTO's) are assigned to the team detailing known vulnerabilities (CVE's) to which higher authorities request evidence of exposure. The team also supports incident response duties which requires prudent action when requested by higher authorities. Investigations may involve searching log events within SIEM systems such as ELK. The team manages a schema for compliance of application logging across the 200 GOTS (internally developed) applications.
What you'll do:
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, in lieu of degree, 12 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.
What you'll need:
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

What you'll do:
- Provide Information Assurance support to the systems and users to ensure applicable military regulations, procedures, and policies are adhered to under guidance of Information Security System Manager(ISSM).
- Provide RMF support of government IT systems.
- Assist with documentation of systems within eMASS.
- Assist with the development, review, and modification of local Information Assurance (IA) related policies, procedures, and processes.
- Review security configurations, audit logs, and patch status of government systems.
- Perform cyber security and FISMA Compliance relevant system monitoring.
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, in lieu of degree, 12 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.
What you'll need:
- Good understanding of vulnerabilities and how to manage risk
- Experience running vulnerability scans with Nessus or similar scan tool
- Experience using a SIEM tool such as ELK
- Knowledge of Tenable ACAS or similar vulnerability reporting tool
- Ability to learn AESS McAfee tools such as ePolicy Orchestrator and TYCHON
- Knowledge of Microsoft Tools (SCCM, Active Directory, VM Tools (VM Sphere & VMware, Enterprise Security Solutions (Firewalls, IDS, HIBBS) and DOD approved Cybersecurity monitoring solutions (SCAP, STIG, ACAS)
- Ability to work independently including setting priorities and coordinating work
- Team player that can work with limited supervision
- Reliable and accountable, able to complete tasks in remote work environment
- Detail oriented with the ability to engage with the team and ask questions
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Security is required
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CYSA Certification required within 6 months
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
