Responsibilities
Peraton seeks a Data Analyst / Scientist to support the Army with Multi Domain Operations. Location : Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Tasks include :
Gather Army data sources for qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Use advanced R and / or Python to generate scripts
- Use packages (pandas, networkx, scikit-learn, pyTorch, TensorFlow / Keras, matplotlib, ggplot, plotly) to conduct data analysis, clean-up, and visualization
- Use multiple data analysis methodologies, with an emphasis on supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques
- Maintain and deploy a notebook-based data science environment (RStudio / Jupyter Notebook) within a cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct process improvement using business automation tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Able to brief senior leaders on data-centric recommendations.

Required
Must have a higher-level understanding / formal education in probability and statistics.

112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
