Peraton is hiring for a Deltek Costpoint Procurement Systems Business Analyst to join our Finance Business Systems team. The remote/telework position requires experience in the administration of the Deltek Costpoint procurement modules. The individual will have the opportunity to work independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the implication of business and or application changes. The individual must understand all aspects of the Costpoint Product Definition, Procurement Planning, Purchasing, Receiving and Inventory and Sales Orders modules and their interdependencies to provide end user support and to interpret user requests into requirements. As a key resource on the team providing support within the Source-to-Pay arena, familiarity with Accounts Payable, Time and Expense and subcontracting is beneficial.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Guiding the procurement team through systems upgrades and acquisition integrations into business systems.
- Gathering user requests and interpreting them into understandable requirements and conducting gap analyses against ERP software solutions when necessary.
- Vetting report enhancement requests to ensure they do not disrupt a particular report's use and providing input to new report requests.
- Tier 2 problem resolution for procurement, accounts payable and finance issues which at times will require investigation into data quality issues to identify corrective action.
- Liaison to the procurement support team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Supporting the Procurement team during Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR).
- Supporting audits of IT Controls for business systems.
- Maintaining documentation and functional/technical specifications.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years or Master's Degree with a minimum of 6 years experience with Deltek Costpoint Time and Expense administration and support. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience supporting data conversion, application testing cycles and training.
- US Citizenship.
- Experience developing SQL queries desirable but not required.
- Cognos analytics experience desirable but not required.
- Government contracting industry experience is preferred.

Salary : $104,000 - $166,000
