What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intelligence Management Analyst SME-Space Systems position at Peraton?
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Space-based systems collection and collection management to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Northern Virginia. Extensive experience in Space-based systems collection and collection support and an in-depth understanding of the policies and collection processes associated with that area.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Review documents related to policy, budget, acquisition, and operations for Space-based systems collection and provide assessments of these documents and the impacts to collection efforts.
• Required to develop, contribute to, edit and staff products related to Space-based systems collection for senior policy makers to include the DNI and Congress. These products may include, but are not limited to reports, talking points, presentations, and studies.
• Required to provide expert advice to senior ODNI leaders on issues related to Space-based systems collection, supported by thorough analysis of the given situation and where appropriate an analysis of the various responses to the issue.
• Support decision makers and special projects on Space-based systems collection management issues to include the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior IC members, policy makers, military decision makers, and members of Congress.
• Expected to build and maintain working relationships with counterparts in their field throughout the Intelligence Community.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in Space-based systems collection and collection support and an in-depth understanding of the policies and collection processes associated with that area.
• Background in SIGINT or Geospatial intelligence collection.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly.
• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• Familiarity with the IC and its components, as well as its missions, disciplines, capabilities, and interrelationships.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills to work effectively with senior leaders from inside and outside the USG, and to coordinate, network, and communicate across the IC.
