Lead Solutions Architect (Military Information Support Operations)

Responsibilities

As a Lead Solution Architect, you will partner with our Business Development Executives to identify customer related cybersecurity pain and challenges and partner with them to design and deploy capabilities that provide customer value.

 

You will play a critical role as a technical expert on our Go-To-Market team, responsible for leading the design of innovative and cost-effective mission relevant solutions that could include systems engineering, applications, cyber security, cloud, and infrastructure solutions that address the operational and technological needs of our customers while helping to grow our business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Work with Growth Business Development and Capture Managers to determine the overall solution strategy and approach, aligning customer’s objectives and requirements to generate value propositions and approaches to solve Government customer challenges.
• Responsible for the technical solution development, competitive costing, and business case alignment of Peraton solutions to the Government client’s proposal requirements.
• Work with growth team solution professionals and technical subject matter experts in the development of integrated, cost-effective solutions for inclusion in proposal responses that meet the customer’s requirements and maximize Peraton’s competitive advantage.
• Articulate all aspects of the solution during governance reviews with senior Peraton management, identifying and evaluating solution risks and creating strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
• Establish strong relationships with Peraton partners to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
• Understanding of Operational environments and how to position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
• Interact with customers to gain insights into customer needs and support shaping activities by articulating the benefits of Peraton solutions.
• Translate the benefits of our approach to specific levels of seniority within the sponsor teams (strategic vs. tactical) Translate innovation and R&D into differentiated solutions for customers working with company technology leadership Mature network of contacts to include government, OEMs, and competitors.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years industry or operational experience (IC, DoD, and/or DHS customers) or a minimum of 10 years industry or operational experience with Masters OR a minimum of 7 years industry or operational experience with PhD. Additional experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Experience in supporting successful technical solutions for Joint influence operations and policy opportunities and proposal submissions for US Federal Government customers.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior and executive management levels.
• Demonstrated knowledge across a broad range of mission focused and technology services and solutions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Top Secret security clearance is preferred.  
• Must be local to Fayetteville, NC.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
