What are the responsibilities and job description for the MISO/MILDEC Exercise Planner USASOC - TS/SCI - Ft Liberty NC position at Peraton?
Peraton is seeking an experienced MISO/MILDEC Exercise Planner, based at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, to conduct exercise planning and instruction with a US Army unit on Ft Liberty, NC. The exercise planner will review, analyze, and advise on the impact of national-level strategies, policies, and joint doctrine. Academically, the planner will conduct research, develop, and validate MISO and MILDEC knowledge, providing advice and instruction to service members. Additionally, the exercise planner will provide focused academic outreach, experiments, and scientific application integration. Finally, the planner will continuity and support to advanced influence courses for the military client. This position is on-site with the client, no remote/hybrid work.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Be the Subject matter expertise and advising on MISO and military deception
- Provide instruction on MISO and military deception to service members throughout exercises
- Knowledge of and ability to develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of deception
- Develop training instruction curriculum for a military audience
- Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills; creatively using all information systems and IRCs regarding; integrating interagency and intelligence community (IC); develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Cyber and electromagnetic spectrum; and consider significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments.
- Instruction on MDMP, service level, and joint operations to service members as required
- Provide support to educational courses and requirement for advanced PSYOP skills
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA, minimum of 6 years with MS/MA, minimum of 3 years with PhD. Four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Psychological Operations Qualifications Course (POQC)
- At least one year of civilian or military instructor experience
- At least one year of experience with MISO/IO at the service or joint level
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport with at least a year remaining before expiration.
- Requires an active DOD Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or other graduate degree in social or natural sciences
- DoD instructor certification
- Joint or Service Level Information Operations planning experience
- US Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Service College Equivalent
- FA30 Information Operations Course or sister service equivalent course
