Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Security Specialist professional to join our aviation program. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of aviation operations, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government security protocols, risk management, aviation operations, and the government's 700 series ICDs
Examples of duties include but not limited to :
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols for aviation operations in compliance with government requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with the client to enhance security measures and response strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and trends, preparing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices, emergency response procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in security audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established security standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans for security breaches or emergencies.
- Serve as a liaison with security personnel and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and coordination during operations.
