Responsibilities
The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) Fraud Prevention System (FPS) detects fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) to minimize taxpayer dollars spent on fraudulent medical claims. FPS provides users access to the latest technologies, enabling them to stay one step ahead of fraudulent providers.
We are looking to add a Product Owner, Senior Manger to our team of professionals.
In this role you will :
Provides expertise in the formulation of system scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements.
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- As a Business Analyst and Product Owner of a scrum team, ensures JIRA tickets are created timely and accurately. Defines acceptance criteria, requirements, and internal / external dependencies.
- Ensures JIRA tickets are kept up to date.
- Prepares the team for Program Increment Planning, which includes assessing level of effort of user stories and features, planning work across sprints, and communicating Program Increment plans to our customer.
- Ensures work aligns with customer needs and fits within overall program roadmap.
- Works with the program Senior Business Analyst to complete impact assessments and provide support through the change control process.
