The selected individual will be responsible for performing analysis of budgets, invoices, and forecasts needed to meet contractual/project requirements assigned portions of the programs. This position is located onsite in Omaha, NE.

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join a team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected individual will be responsible for performing analysis of budgets, invoices, and forecasts needed to meet contractual/project requirements assigned portions of the programs. This position is located onsite in Omaha, NE.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with Project leads to determine staffing and whether or not it is within budget and scope.
- Review timecards for accuracy to budget and projects and update spend plans accordingly.
- Provide funding, verify and approve subcontractor invoices; provide corresponding reports.
- Form relationships with all Subcontractors to set up timecard and billing deadlines.
- Coordinate with the PFA on Purchase Order funding, to ensure timely processing of invoices to maximize revenue, EBIT and cash collections.
- Ensure timely invoicing and collection on programs to include providing detailed invoice backup as required.
- Any issues at DFAS are worked directly with Business Management and Contract Management Offices to resolve issues and obtain prompt payment of the invoice.
- Close monitoring and analysis of Funding availability, Milestone Billings and Cash collections.
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management.
- Provide variance analysis on program financial metrics.
- Responsible for financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis and incorporating milestone schedules into all activities.
- Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate financial status to the Program Manager and organizational leadership.
- Support Pricing, Cost Strategy, Proposal activities, and provide historical cost analysis.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze contract estimates at completion (EAC) and coordinate ETC assumptions with the program leadership team.
- Monitor program labor charging and other costs for any cost posting errors, then review results with the program leadership team.
- Closely interface with external/internal customers, Program Managers, and co-workers on all cost issues.
- Support the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to include forecasting for the Annual Operating Plan.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and FAR government regulations.
- Ability to multi-task and work ad hoc requests on short notice.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study and 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with MS/MA, or 9 years of experience with no degree.
- Experience working with financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
- Strong MS Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, graphs, dashboards).
- Knowledge of CostPoint, Cognos, and other MS Office applications.
- Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
- US Citizenship.
