Peraton is hiring for a SharePoint Developer. This role requires a versatile development approach utilizing multiple programming languages, including .NET and JavaScript, for various SharePoint platforms. Responsibilities include developing components, add-ins, workflows, pages, and other solutions to meet customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop .NET code and software in support of SharePoint Online solutions.
- Ensure solutions are developed in compliance with client standards, e.g., governance plan.
- Consult on the design of SharePoint solutions based on requirements specifications.
- Develop and design unit test plans and resolve software bugs.
- Maximize built-in capabilities of the SharePoint platform to minimize risks and costs associated with custom code development.
- Utilize available third-party extensions (e.g., iDashboards, Nintex) while minimizing risks and costs associated with custom code development.
- Leverage all tools available to develop SharePoint solutions, including Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and third-party development tools.
- Work closely with end-users, customers, solution architects, and stakeholders to coordinate plans and activities affecting the solution.
- Facilitate an efficient development process based on agile principles and advocate for further efficiencies in the software development process.
- Communicate and coordinate with management, solution architects, and operations staff to address technical issues.
- Ensure developed code / software is versioned and proper source control is practiced.
Qualifications
Education :
HS with 9 years of experience, BS / BA with 5 years; MS / MA with 3 years.
