Peraton requires Incident Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill AFB, FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Change Managers require extensive experience with managing hardware and software configuration changes, Configuration Control Board (CCB) change requests, Certificates of Networthiness (CoNs), and other change related activities. This position is responsible for implementing change management processes and procedures, assessing change management needs, and implementing plans to guide the information technology (IT) organization to a mature
change process. Change Managers ensure solutions and infrastructure changes are introduced in a controlled, yet efficient, manner. Change Managers must possess excellent interpersonal, business management and customer service skills.
Typical duties include:
- Conducting research on process improvement
- Ensuring software policies and procedures remain current and up-to-date
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal change management policies, procedures, and associated training plans
- Being knowledgeable about relevant applications, as well as the enterprise and its processes
- Managing and providing guidance to junior members of the change management team
- Conducting Change Advisory Meetings
- Training change coordinators and approvers on existing change policies and procedures
- Assisting with the definition and documentation of new or adapted change processes and
- Attachment 3: Position Descriptions (PDs) for the Enterprise Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Task Order 12 procedures
- Executing periodic testing of change processes to ensure compliance
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PHD
- A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
- 3 years of experience as a change manager in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required.
Required certifications:
- ITIL Intermediate Release, Control, and Validation (RCV) OR
- ITIL v4 Certification
