Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced Software Application Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions.
The candidate must have demonstrated experience with computer systems and programming to desktop applications; communication skills to work with stakeholders for requirements; attentiveness to detail to ensure all parts work together as intended and good record-keeping skills.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, implement and maintain software application solutions based on requirements and quality standards.
- Assess program and client needs for implementation of software solutions.
- Collaborate with software development teams on software projects.
- Incorporate client feedback into software product development and maintenance.
- Monitor software application performance and resolve any issues.
- Test and troubleshoot software issues with created hardware components for effective resolution that resolves root causes.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for the software application usage, data, acquisition, maintenance, test cases, and security protocols, to include diagrams and models.
- Monitor software performance to ensure continuity of performance after maintenance and testing.
- Travel : Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.
