We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Alliances Manager to build and maintain robust partnerships with key stakeholders from both companies, including senior executives, market, and technical teams. This role requires a deep understanding of strategic alliances, co-development projects, and joint pipeline pursuits. As a Strategic Alliances Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic initiatives, developing and executing partnership strategies, and ensuring the integration of partner services.
Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Competitive Information: Understand the current market and conduct research to identify potential partners and emerging technology trends.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from both companies, including senior executives, market, and technical teams. Acts as the single point of contact for partnership-related activities.
- Co-development Projects: Spearhead co-development projects by identifying opportunities for collaboration and driving the creation differentiated solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership activities with enterprise goals.
- Pipeline Support: Support joint pipeline pursuits to grow the business and manage strategic initiatives that drive integration of partner services.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements to ensure favorable terms and alignment with enterprise goals.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute the overall strategy for the partnership, staying up to date on market trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and developing strategies to address them, including participation in partner competencies, funding programs, and marketing campaigns.
- Conference Coordination: Coordinate corporate strategies and operational plans for partner conferences.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology Management, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic alliance management or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex partnerships and initiatives, or a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading co-development projects and managing joint pipeline pursuits.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and technical teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and market analysis skills.
- Ability to travel extensively as needed to support partnership activities
- Have technical background on general technology industry
Desired
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience working in the technology, cyber, defense and aerospace industries.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in team settings, including close collaboration with partners and internal teams.
