Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Event Assistant to join our team. The Event Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion.
- Work closely with the Event Manager to develop event timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, and transportation.
- Assist in the creation of event marketing materials, including invitations, programs, and signage.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and coordination of activities.
- Handle vendor communications and assist with contract negotiations as needed.
- Monitor event progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during execution.
- Collect feedback from participants post-event and assist in reporting outcomes.
Qualifications:
