Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, including corporate functions, workshops, conferences, and community outreach programs. As an Events Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with event managers and other stakeholders, helping to create memorable experiences for our attendees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events including logistics, setup, and breakdown.
- Communicate with vendors and venues to coordinate event details and requirements.
- Manage event registrations and handle inquiries from attendees.
- Prepare and organize event materials, including name badges, packets, and signage.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media promotion and email campaigns for events.
- Track event budgets and assist with expense reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
