JOB DESCRIPTION

Percheron is looking for a high-energy, competitive, and self-motivated individual to join our Sales Team as a Sales Associate. The position is working from our Katy, Texas headquarters office and will support our Business Development efforts. The successful candidate will help grow the Percheron portfolio with specific client accounts to increase Percheron’s revenue within those key accounts and will work closely with the Managing Partners.

  • Willing to familiarize yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
  • Conducting market research and identifying potential decision-makers within target industries.
  • Cultivating relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners
  • Execute outbound calls and e-mails to engage prospects
  • Collecting and maintaining client information in the CRM database
  • Schedule meetings between qualified leads (decision-makers) and Management Team (subject matter experts)
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, client service, and retention plans
  • Prepare and deliver market research reports
  • Assist/draft sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Creating and manage promotions on personal LinkedIn
  • Effectively communicate our solutions and how they benefit our clients
  • Work with Managing Partners and business development team to develop target lists, call strategies, and messaging
  • Participate in industry conferences, charity events, client meetings, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Assist management with coordinating client entertainment activities
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent phone, and email etiquette
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Strong presentation skills in person as well as virtual presentations
  • Must be self-driven and produce results independent of day-to-day supervision
  • Customer oriented with a high level of professionalism
  • Maintain a positive attitude regardless of disappointments and mistakes
  • Ability to learn new concepts and software programs quickly, retain large amounts of information, and adapt to a changing work environment
  • Excel in a collaborative environment—Enjoy helping others be successful while achieving your own goals
  • You are comfortable on the phone and don’t shy away from the phone or favor only electronic means of communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentations along with other multi-media presentations
  • Must possess an understanding of basic sales methodologies
  • Strong organization and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Friendly and personable demeanor with great listening skills

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work 100% in an office environment
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and
    ability to adjust focus.
