The Reporting Solutions Developer will leverage their expertise in tools such as Power BI, Telerik Reporting, SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), and Azure SQL Database to develop and manage a comprehensive suite of reports for our diverse client base. Reports within the application assist project teams in making crucial business decisions. You will join our dynamic team to assist in launching and supporting a web based application supporting land management tasks, ensure the performance, security, and availability of our databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and meet reporting requirements.

- Work with tools like Power BI, Telerik Reporting, SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), and Azure SQL Database.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive list of reports for various clients using Power BI and Telerik Reporting.
- Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and reporting issues.
- Assess and develop long-term strategic goals for production databases in conjunction with data owners and department managers.
- Assist application development and quality assurance staff in the development of database architectures, coding standards and quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on database and reporting products, services protocols and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
- Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time and implement efficiency improvements.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Proficiency in SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for creating and optimizing stored procedures, views, and running SQL statements.
- Experience with BI Tools: Proficiency in Power BI and Telerik for creating reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Azure SQL: Experience with Azure SQL Database and related cloud technologies.
- Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling concepts and database design.
- ETL Processes: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize data processes.
- Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
