JOB DESCRIPTION
Percheron is seeking a highly motivated and diverse GIS Intern for our Summer 2025 internship program. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2025. Intern will work under the direction of a GIS Technician and GIS Analyst. This position will create and maintain maps, GIS layers, electronic data and geographic computer files for various projects.
- Learn how to create professional maps from preliminary data.
- Convert / transform Lat / Long data
- Learn how to map leases from internal and external sites
- Perform standard spatial analysis such as buffering, intersects, selections, etc.
- Additional responsibilities and / or duties as assigned
