What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Android engineer to join our small mobile team and drive the development of high-quality Android applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable mobile-native solutions while ensuring performance, usability, and best engineering practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to create a seamless user experience.
This role will report into our Engineering Manager, Mobile and work out of our SoHo NYC Office 3 days / week
What You'll Work On
- Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality native Android application using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
- Drive large, complex projects autonomously, from technical design to launch
- Architect reusable and scalable code using Clean Architecture principles.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Help us define a healthy and effective development culture that balances the need to move quickly with planning for the future
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for best engineering practices.
- Building test frameworks that help us increase our ability to continuously release code
- Stay up-to-date with Android development trends and continuously improve our tech stack.
- Take ownership over QA and release cycles of your work as part of a you-build-it-you-run-it practice.

Salary Information
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. Our ranges are based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, job-related knowledge and depth of work experience.
The base compensation range for this position is expected to be between $155,000- $190,000 / year equity benefits.
