Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engaging conversation
- Prepare meals based on dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up
- Administer medication reminders and monitor changes in clients’ conditions
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Negative TB test and/or health screening as required by Illinois regulations
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Prior caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
