Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to HUD and LIHTC regulations
- File claims and recertifications to recover funds from government programs
- Work closely with Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC properties
- Stay updated on affordable housing regulations and ensure properties remain in compliance
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of direct Affordable Housing experience
- Experience conducting audits and submitting claimsKnowledge of CHA, HUD, Project-Based Section 8, and LIHTC programs
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) required
