About the Role
Creditor Relations Negotiator:
We are looking for talented individuals with an aptitude for negotiations to join our growing team of Creditor Relations Negotiators. This position focuses on conducting heavy-volume communications with creditors and their agents, under attorney supervision, regarding clients’ debt obligations. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a fast-paced, professional environment and has a genuine desire to help people in difficult times.
Responsibilities
- Participate in negotiations with creditors from start to completion, under attorney supervision
- Establish and maintain regular contact with creditors and their agents, such as collection agencies and collection law firms
- Review clients’ availability of funds and individual circumstances in preparation for settlement discussions
- Gather and submit required legal documentation for attorney review and client approval
- Achieve and maintain quality and performance standards as set forth by the Firm
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Able to adapt to changes on a rolling basis
- Self-motivated worker with a solid work ethic and competitive drive
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to easily build rapport and maintain positive working relationships
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Experience in finance or financial services industries is preferred
Preferred Skills
No previous legal experience is necessary
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with expertise and previous experience
This position is bonus eligible
This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
