What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager position at Peregrine Search Solutions?
The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis and Pricing position reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for providing key financial data in support of management decisions. The position works with the CFO and others to prepare the annual company operating plan. The position leads the Pricing and Costing team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Preparation of key elements of annual operating plans. They include revenue, cost of goods sold, transportation, and certain administrative support areas.
· Preparation of annual and monthly income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flow projections.
· Provides a number of recurring management reports. Lead improvements in operational reporting process to deliver reporting that is timely, accurate, and provides substantial insights in order to drive improvements in business performance.
· Lead profitability improvement initiatives both departmental and cross functional
· Facilitate price management for margin optimization
· Responsible for costing for customer RFP’s.
· Prepares financial analysis that helps the company optimize our long-term profitability. Projects include impact of capital deployment, changes to our manufacturing or distribution footprint, and supply chain sourcing.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including but not limited to tax laws, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and cost accounting standards (CAS).
