What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Scrub Technician position at Peregrine Team?
Peregrine Team is hiring for Surgical Scrub Technicians in Rochester, NY. This is a travel position with 13-week-long contracts (able to extend).
Job Duties:
- Able to complete and maintain reports and clinical records
- Able to review and discuss pertinent data relevant to assigned cases with RN and other team members in order to asses the needs of the patient and the surgical team
- Able to collect data for assessment including but not limited to checking schedule for time and types of operations, verifying patients identity, discussing patient physical and psychological condition
- Weekly Rate: $1,980.00/week
- Taxed Weekly Rate: $680.00/week
- Weekly Stipend (M&IE, Lodging): $1,300.00/week
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in surgical technology.
- Must be comfortable handling total joint replacement cases.
- Experience required in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, General Surgery ,Vascular Surgery.
- Candidates must be certified surgical techs and hold a BLS certification.
- NCCT-certified candidates must provide education verification via a third party at the time of submission.
- Shift: 40 hours- 4x10 Evenings (11:00 am - 9:30 pm)
