Engineering Technician

Job Description:

Perennial Energy in West Plains, MO is seeking a qualified candidate for Engineering Technician. The individual in this role will be responsible for providing support to various departments, such as engineering, quality, and manufacturing, while following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. This role involves interpreting drawings, verifying components and processes, inspection of components, documentation and manuals, and collaborating with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Inspection of sub-components and complete units per project engineer or customer guidelines, ensuring all components meet operational standards
• Collaboration across all departments to ensure company policies and customer requirements are met
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
• Maintain a professional demeanor and clear communication with clients to build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Completion of Operation and Maintenance manuals
• Completion of Engineering and Quality documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s in engineering or engineering experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Strong computer skills a must
• Experience in biogas systems or industrial service roles preferred
• Familiarity with safety procedures and industry standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Experience with process meters, such as Fluke meters and manometers
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Outlook Calendar
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
