Salary: $85,000 to $100,000/year

Role Overview:
The Clinical Manager at Perez Therapy, LLC is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and enhancing the clinical and supervisory functions of the company. This role integrates clinical care with management, ensuring both the quality of therapy services and compliance with clinical best practices. The Clinical Manager supervises clinical staff, provides licensure supervision, and ensures adherence to ethical and procedural guidelines. As a member of the management team, the Clinical Manager plays a critical role in both direct client care and the operational effectiveness of the clinical team.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, clinical concentration
- Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Social Worker: must maintain active in good standing
- Completes continuing education as required to maintain active PA LCSW
- Credentialing with company in-network insurances, including PA Medicaid
- Able to work on-site at Perez Therapy locations and telehealth
- Able to provide clinical emergency on-call, as required
- 5 years experience providing clinical social work as a psychotherapist
- Experience providing individual psychotherapy and has a subspecialty; such as, family therapy, couples counseling or child/adolescent therapy
- Must be able to provide documented clinical licensure supervision for up to 6 LSWs and pre-clinically licensed professionals
- Not prohibited from participating in the Medicaid system as a provider
- Strongly preferred: bilingual (Spanish/English), clinical experience with LGBTQIA & BIPOC populations, able to provide child therapy, couples therapy and/or family therapy
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes positive, trusting rapport with clients, employees and the community
- Provides clinically-sound rooted in evidenced-based psychotherapy practices
- Conducts an initial and ongoing assessments of patient progress and documents in the electronic health record
- Diagnoses and treats mental health conditions as specified in the DSM-5
- Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
- Completes all tasks and required documentation as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Policy Manual and Procedures Manuals
- Meets with patients weekly, bi-weekly or monthly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Involves and advises family members when appropriate and with patient written consent
- Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary
- Maintains thorough records of employee and patient meetings and progress
- Maintains accurate client records of clinical diagnosis, treatment, and progress reports, insurance forms, billing and invoicing forms, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by Company or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) for all clients
- Completes clinical sound progress notes reflecting the content of the session and interventions
- Completes required session notes and all required documentation within 7 calendar days
- Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Engages patient referrals via phone and email to engage in treatment, explain practice policies, fees, intake process, scheduling and cancellation procedures
- Ensures patients remit timely payment for services rendered and keep a credit card on file for autopay, exceptions can be approved by the director
- Meets expectations for clinical billable hours per week
- Collaborates with external agencies to ensure collaborative clinical care
- Immediately reports any suspected child abuse to Pennsylvania Child Line within one hour of receiving the report and sends Phila Department of Human Services CY-47 via email as outlined in the Perez Therapy Policy Manual.
- Ensures all incidents are reported to the CEO immediately upon being informed of any emergencies. Ensures documentation is filed in the client’s chart, or documented as directed by management (incident report, client email
Management Requirements:
- Documents and provides clinical supervision for supervisees in standardized format as per agency policies
- Fields and addresses questions and concerns related to current and former clients served by the Company
- Conducts weekly quality assurance reviews of clinical care, documentation, clinical/administrative processes, and supervision of staff
- Ensures adequate clinical coverage for clinical operations of the program, including intake, assessment, clinical emergencies, on-call schedule, and client complaints
- Provides licensure clinical supervision for assigned pre-clinically licensed therapists for supervision; provides 2 hours of clinical supervision via weekly 1 hour per supervisee and 1 hour of weekly group clinical supervision
- Signs documentation on a routine (monthly, weekly) basis of licensure clinical supervision provided
