Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Keep accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur during the day.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the daycare environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, special education, and behavior management techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental stages of children.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- A degree or certification in early childhood education or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
