What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Perfect Game?
The Customer Service Representative will be the primary point of contact for all Perfect Game customers. This role will require a true customer-focus mentality, stellar communication skills, a friendly attitude and the ultimate goal of problem resolution. You’ll be corresponding (speaking, texting, and emailing) with Perfect Game athletes, parents, coaches, vendors and others, and your goal will be to make sure that they feel heard and that their issue was 100% resolved.
Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Gaining a robust understanding of Perfect Game’s event operations and online interface and utilizing all available resources to assist customers
- Managing and addressing all customer service email channels and online account-related issues
- Fielding all phone calls and voicemails for the customer service department as well as other business departments
- Directing inquiries for specific employees or regions to the appropriate extension or email address
- Completing daily administrative tasks to improve the customer experience
- Assisting event staff with preparation for upcoming events
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service specifically with direct customer interface
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; upbeat with a can-do attitude
- Problem-solving ability; able to quickly identify issues and efficiently execute solutions
- Shows initiative and a sense of urgency
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Basic understanding of the game of baseball preferred
- Familiarity with youth sports preferred
- Proficiency using the internet and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
